Good, I don't think Matz will be long for Binghamton either.

    im surprised.
"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson

So does this mean that Nimmo's ETA is mid-season 2015?

(6 games under .500 before June. Not that far away from what?)

Even more reason why they should put Conforto in St. Lucie and not Savannah after a month.

The only guy I'm surprised they promoted was Dilson. His numbers were pretty solid, but I didn't think he'd be in AA until next year. I wonder how they view Dilson's ETA vs keeping Murphy.

Pretty surprised Herrera got promoted. I can see the posts talking about how we're "rushing" him if Omar Minaya were still the GM.

How are they rushing Herrera? His numbers were good and he was controlling the strikezone pretty well.

I'm not saying they are, I'm saying that the move would probably be viewed as rushing him under Minaya. I guess they figure he's never going to hit for big power anyways so as long as the BA/OBP and K's are good (which they were) they can move him up.

Can we stop comparing the two regimes already? Sandy's been here for four years now. Lets focus on that and organization as it is now.

Herrera is only 20 years old, so right now power is the least of my concerns. The fact that he has already shown some pop is a good sign as he gets stronger and more mature. He's ready for AA.

They will see the rest of the year at AA and will likely start there next year unless they out up excellent numbers there.

Good to see they are moving these guys up and not overly babying them.

Question is who from Savannah gets promoted?
