Apologies in advance for the massive GT covering 6 series but from now until after the 4th I'm not going to be around very much so I thought I would cover it all in one thread.

Definitely not as strong as last year but I think they are ok there. Melancon and Watson have for the most part been phenomenal and Wilson, Grilli and even Hughes have basically held their own. Gomez seems to be rounding into form as a long man and I still have hope for Pimentel.

That covers all 7 relievers right there. If they stay in the race I hope they add one near the deadline but I think they can get back on track.

If we are concerned about the bullpen there is a relief arm down in AAA who is starting to look quite appealing.

Since May 19th (his last appearance of 2+ innings) this guy has pitched 11.1 innings allowed 0 runs, 5 hits, walked only 2 and struck out 15. On the season he has an insane 12.4 K/9.

It would be one heck of a roll of the dice to call him up with his well noted control issues but at his recent pace Andy Oliver is going to make it awfully tough on the Pirates to ignore him. A left handed arm like his is something you must at least consider.

I wonder if they would consider trading Wilson or Watson at the deadline if Oliver continued this recent success? I think they could get a pretty nice return for either of them

Let's hope for the success we had in the wild card game. It'd be nice to take at least 2 of 3, get over .500, and put some distance between us

When Walker gets back I think Pedro needs a break. Keep Harrison at 3rd.
