Bulls' Forum Top-25 NBA Players 2014 Ranking: 3rd Best Player

With the playoffs officially ending in a dominant fashion, and as a change of pace from the draft and free agency talk that surrounds our waking moments, I'd like our forum to give their own perspective on the top players in the league. We're going to skip #1 and #2, because those are a consensus. With that let's start with the 3rd best player in the league.

Poll: Vote for which player you feel takes the cake as the 3rd best player in the league (if you feel like a player should be on the list that's not, then mention him in the thread and he could end up being on the next poll).

I'm going to take a lot of heat for this, but I have to go Westbrook.

I disagree. I guess everyone has the right to their own opinion.

    CP3 is my vote

While Westbrook was impressive these playoffs I still don't think he's better than Chris Paul and I'd probably take Stephen Curry over him as well. His competitive drive is through the roof but I have to go with CP3.

Side Note: CP3 is the only player on this list who pretty took his team to the Finals as the only great player on his team.

Chris Paul has never been to the Western Conference Finals let alone the Finals. If that was a typo and you meant just the playoffs, then pardon me

Id take Curry. However its not an easy decision. You can make a case for a few of the guys here.

I love Russell Westbrook especially being a UCLA alum but I don't get the vote for him here. And though I agree that he would shine away from Durants shadow I also believe he benefits greatly from having a player like durant on his team.

That being said I'd take Chris Paul.

It also saddens me that we can't add our hometown hero to the discussion. Not saying he is or is not worthy it's just a reminder of what could and should have been

seems like Chris Paul has a huge lead, I figured he'd win but I thought there would be a closer 2nd guy

I'm going with Steph Curry. I hope they can land a big this free agency.
