    PSD's Top 30 Defensemen: #2

Winner of the first poll is Shea Weber!

Who is the second best defenseman in the league currently? Vote for a defenseman and tell me which defenseman to add.

I'm stuck between Doughty and Suter honestly. Those two along with Weber are my top three with Keith, Chara, and McDonagh in my next class.

I want to say Phaneuf but.. Maybe I'll wait until it gets closer to 20 lol. Suter was my guy here over Doughty basically because of the possession numbers. Suter was only -11 for giveaways/ takeaways and Doughty was -66 lol. I realize Doughty plays with the puck a little more than Suter but only 3 guys in the league had a worse turnover ratio than Doughty this past year (Hjalmarsson, Petry, Goligoski).

Neither do I. But now that you put Dion in this one, you must put Bozak for #3C.

After doing research, I will admit that I am wrong with putting Keith #1 and I will choose Suter here.

Benzi looked beyond the fact that Keith is Canadian. Hard to do.

in all honesty, I have Keith, Weber, Suter all in my top 3. After reading some of the responses here, I can say that my vote has been swayed. If I could revote, it would be Weber, Suter, Keith. Suter also plays nearly 30 minutes a game. That is extremely reliable. Probably could make a case to put him #1 overall. I suck with ranking players

Oops, meant to vote for Doughty, not Suter. Can someone change that.
