Ryan Reid seems to have emerged as Las Vegas' closer. Has tossed 17 1/3 consecutive innings without allowing earned run.

Maybe we should be a little more patient before calling him that?

Gavin Cecchini looked like he pulled his left hamstring cruising into second base with a double. He was 2-3, 2B, 3B, game one of DH

Screw that. I'm not impressed even though he's posting impressive numbers. I want to see him do this for at least 2 weeks before he's back up here. I want him to be in a total groove when he's back up here not just on a high of a couple of games. Earliest I want him back up is the Oakland series.

The minimum he can be down is 10 days. I expect hie'll be there for 3-6 weeks depending on how he hits. You'll get your wish.

Oakland series or beginning of July sounds good. He just needs to clear his head a bit and come back with some confidence.
