    Who's real and who's fake?

What teams will turn it around, what teams will fall off by the end of the season, and what teams will surprise everyone and keep themselves in the playoffs.

If the playoffs started today it would go

    AL East - Toronto
    AL Central - Detroit
    AL West - Oakland
    Wildcard - Seattle @ LA

    NL East - Atlanta
    NL Central - Milwaukee
    NL West - San Francisco
Wildcard - Washington @ Miami (or vise versa not sure)

Pretty simple. What teams are going to be still in the hunt, and which ones are fake. Also what teams that are struggling will turn it around.

Neither Stl or LAD currently holds a wild card spot.

Cards I think will at least get a Wild Card spot

I think the A's are as legit as one can get, and I think the Giants are too.

Marlins aren't this good, even with that pitching. NL East will be an interesting race all year I imagine.

Before the season I thought these were the best teams
    AL
    Rays, Red Sox, Yankees
    Tigers
    A's, Angels, Rangers

    NL
    Nationals, Braves
    Cardinals, Reds, Pirates
    Dodgers

Not much has changed my mind - though the Blue Jays and Giants look better than I had thought.

This, and the Brewers look better than I thought too.

I pretty much universally agree on every thing you just said.

Same although i didn't have the Rangers in it i didn't really like there pitching outside of Yu and they lost Hamilton and Cruz then traded away Kinsler.

What about Toronto? Are they legit? I haven't caught a lot of them, but their record is at least impressive?

Texas I think will miss this year. Too many injuries already.

LAA seem to finally got the lineup they payed for, and even though there pitching was awful at the beginning of the season it's really turned around.

The Mariners are a real shocker to me. I watch a lot of them, and they're pitching seems to be phenomenal even with 2 of their best young prospects on the disabled list (both guys that were projected to start the season in the rotation).

I'd say LAD & STL are due for an upswing but wouldn't bet on either taking their respective division.

I also think MIA and Sea will miss the playoffs.

I couldn't really understand why people were saying the Pirates were better than the Brewers preseason.

I really wanted the Pirates to be good. Fans deserve it.

I really don't know a damn thing about Milwaukee. I don't think I've seen a single game of them so far.

What about Toronto though? Is this sustainable? Is Tampa really THAT bad.

Toronto's pitching staff is a bit suspect but that lineup is legit as ****.
