    Time to fire Lamar Johnson?

Lost 6 in a row, leaving a ton of RISP.

Maybe it is time to fire the hitting coach again.

Because id POASP if I thought itd do any good.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

I don't post regularly or in the magnitude of others, but when I first joined I felt your commentary had gravity.

Now, mostly shallow. That's too bad.

    To complete my thought:

The Mets are a disaster right now. How have they adjusted? They fired their hitting coach and replaced their catcher with a replacement player. They seem not to care that they have gaping holes too at first base, shortstop and left field while their base running is on par with a bunch of 9 year olds still learning that it is ok to overrun first base.

Since the team is either unwilling or incapable of making substantive changes, then yeah, they might as well fire the hitting coach again

    Or POASP.

Because after a while you just stop caring.

I agree, but we both know Sandy is safe. I believe if this team continues to nosedive TC will be next in line to be axed.

Thinking positively, maybe we'll pull a move from the 2013 L.A Dodgers and win 42 of 50.......

Then again, maybe, just maybe we'll pull a 1973 when we were in last place in the beginning of September and win the division.....

Finally, perhaps we'll get a Donn Clendenon-clone at first base and we'll start turning this thing around in July and win our first World Series in 28 years!!!......

But, maybe I should be more realistic and accept the fact that losing starts at the top of the food chain. Management's record speaks for itself. There are zero excuses for their poor decision-making.......

They have failed miserably. The wins and losses, plus the crap brought up from the minors, free agent signings tells all. And, it's the fans that have to watch this

I don't know how anyone in their right mind could spend there hard earned money and go to Citi to watch an inept team.....
