I couldn't even find a decent scouting profile on him. If anybody has one, please add it.

Seriously no Jackson. They better have a good reason behind this one.

    Schwarber >>>> Vogelbach

I think he has some shot at RF. Cubs cornering the market on prospect power bats as best they can.

Also: boooooring. College bat is about as safe a route you can go in the top 10. That helps, even if it's boring.

Looks like we're going for a surplus of bats to trade for arms. Cant't be mad at that strategy with the way pitchers are going down with injuries.

If he can actually stick at C, sure, why not upon further reflection. Otherwise, MEHHHH. The FO had better make this el cheapo first pick (I presume it is anyway) count when it comes to round 2 & beyond.

If he can stay at Catcher than im totally fine with this pick based on his upside. He should be a good compliment to Rizzo, Castro, Baez, Bryant, Alcantra, Soler and Jimenez at the Catcher spot (not that all these guys will pan out). The 3 big arms were gone and it is a totally safe pick imo. Some scouts say he is the best bat in the draft. Ill take that two years in a row!!!

I like players that can hit baseballs. He's one of them. I like that it's boring. Boring is good.
