There goes our salary cap or might I say Kap.
Looks like theres some heavy incentives that would make him $21 mil a year. Which I'm sure includes a Super Bowl win and certain statistical achievements. If he reaches those incentives I'm fine paying him $126 mil over 6 years.
He's averaging 18 mil a year. That a lot of money but with the cap expected to jump up 10 mil next year and another 10 mil after we got him at a fair price. We were smart to make the deal now before the cap jumped up or he could have easily asked for 21 mil a year.
Everyone is saying this is his year to break out well it better be.
I'm glad he is locked in...no matter what happens in Niner Nation...people will always grown mumble & grumble...and find something to complain about...you could never ever please everyone...congrats Kap...lets go out and bring this 6th ring to San Fran now....the front office knows why they did what they did with Kap's contract....
Big ups to Phins1983 for the Sig!!!
They'll regret this after next season is over.
Can't imagine it isn't heavily incentive laden and structured to benefit the organization, otherwise can't imagine it getting done so quickly. In Maraathe I trust.
That seems like a lot to me but I haven't seen the numbers broken down so I don't know.

Well they're saying the cap is gonna rise a lot in the next couple years. A lot of money, he's gotta prove he's worth it now. Hopefully he does that and then some.
$61 million guaranteed.... WoW
Colin requested the deal have flexibility for the Niners to sign players like Crabs.
We'll see if Crabs is as interested.Originally Posted by STAT1:28581256
