Around the NBA; Bledsoe resigns 5/70

Spurs in 5 or 7 (depends on Parker's health)

Hopefully Spurs take it in about 6 games.

I think this series will go 7 games again because of Parker's health. I think SAS wins though.

Some people in the main think that Spurs are better off without TP because it allows others to get more involved in the system.

Idiots. Losing your best player doesn't help you that's like the Bulls supposedly being better without Rose, because the team "can share the ball" more. Lebron should really go down, that way Chris Andersen and Mario Chalmers can get more involved.

Spurs in 7, I'll be curious to see how things go without Stern around to dictate winners and losers.

    2005 White Sox
    2010 Blackhawks
    1991 Bulls

Do you seriously think Stern had that much power? And if he did, do you seriously think Silver doesn't have the very same amount of power seeing as he holds the exact same position now?

The coolest part about Spurs in the finals again is Duncan gets another shot at a ring. How many of us thought last year was his last chance at it? Age has no limits.

With that said I think it will be a 6/7 game series and it could go either way. Obviously I want the Spurs to win to get Duncan his 5th ring but with LeBron on the other side it's never a walk in the park.

New York Knicks president Phil Jackson was fined $25,000 by the NBA for tampering with Oklahoma City Thunder guard Derek Fisher, ESPN.com reported.

Jackson reportedly was fined for statements he made during a news conference last week about the possibility of hiring Fisher as the Knicks coach.

The NBA fined Jackson, in part, to reinforce its annual reminder to teams about its anti-tampering rules. Teams are not permitted to directly or indirectly express interest in other teams' looming free agents.

Fisher said earlier that he wants to someday coach in the NBA. He helped the Los Angeles Lakers win five NBA titles in the 2000s when Jackson coached the team.

Fisher ran Jackson's triangle offense as the Lakers' point guard. He has not officially retired but has hinted this could be his final season playing with the Thunder, who were eliminated from the Western Conference finals on Saturday.

Jackson would prefer to hire one of his former players who knows his offense.
