    "Wishlist" 2014-2015 Charlotte Hornets Roster

What's up guys...I've seen multiple reports so far stating that Charlotte has interest in signing/trading for: Greg Monroe, Eric Gordon, Pau Gasol, Zach Randolph, Carmelo Anthony, Lance Stephenson, Luol Deng, Gordon Hayward, and Jameer Nelson.

Additionally, we have the 9th and 24th picks in a VERY deep draft! I don't know about you guys, but with the return of the Hornets name, the playoff appearance, the aquisition of Big Al, the 9th pick, etc....this is the most excited I've been for our team since the Jason Richardon, Gerald Wallace, and Okafeor days! lol

So my question is.....what is your "dream" roster for your 2014-2015 Charlotte Hornets!

***Also, explain why and how we will acquire the player you listed....(PLEASE BE REALISTIC!!!)

    I'll start:
    __________________________________________________ ______

PG: Kemba Walker................................PJ Hairston (via 24th pick)
SG: Nik Stauskas (9th pick)...................Gerald Henderson
    SF: Mike Kidd-Gilchrest..........................CDR
    PF: Zach Randolph/Greg Monroe(SIGN)...Cody Zeller
    C: Al Jefferson.....................................Bism ack Biyombo
    __________________________________________________ ______

*My 2nd option would be.....signing Lance to play the 2 instead of signing Z-BO/Monroe, and then drafting Aaron Gordon to play the 4 with Cody bringing depth to our bench.

GUYS I'M FREAKIN EXCITED LIKE A LITTLE KID....WE'RE NOT A JOKE ANYMORE!!!

I'd like to draft Aaron Gordon if he falls to #9 and trade for Greg Monroe. #24 is hard to call I like Hairston, Payne, and Warren but all of them may be gone by that pick.

Hornets as 3rd team in K. Love Mega Trade (KLMT)

PG: Kemba Walker -> Avery Bradley (FA)
SG: Klay Thompson (KLMT) -> Geral Henderson
SF: MKG -> CDR -> Jeffery Taylor
PF: David Lee (KLMT) -> Adreian Payne (Draft-24) -> Anthony Tolliver
C: Al Jefferson -> Brendan Haywood

I'm horrible at figuring out trade value with the NBA, but here we go
Charlotte: Klay Thompson and David Lee
GS: Kevin Love, Gary Neal, Bismack Biyombo
Minn: Cody Zeller, Harriosn Barnes, 9th pick, 45th pick, and CHA 2015 1st rd pick

    Without trades

PG: Kemba Walker -> Avery Bradley (FA) -> Semaj Christon (Draft-45)
SG: Gerald Henderson -> Gary Neal -> Zach LaVine (Draft-9)
SF: MKG -> CDR -> Jeffery Taylor -> Glenn Robinson III (Draft-24)
PF: Josh McRoberts (FA) -> Cody Zeller -> Anthony Tolliver
C: Al Jefferson -> Bismack Biyombo -> Brendan Haywood

I'd send both Semaj Christon and GRIII to the D-League. I think GRIII has all the tools to be in consideration at 9, but his play has just been too passive/indecisive which has slide him down the draft board. I think the D-League would be the perfect place for him to develop since he'd be the go to guy on the team.

I love that you are not scared to ship a future 1st, I mentioned it on one site and you would have thought the world was coming to an end. If we stay healthy I can't see our picks sniffing the lottery anytime soon.

I'm just not seeing PJ Hairston as a backup PG, but I do think Nik Stauskas will be serviceable at the point. Just not sure if he'd be ready to do it as a rookie. Not my guys, but I do like the players you added. Lots of exciting possibilities out there.

I'M STOKED ABOUT NEXT SEASON. GO HORNETS!!!!!

I have no problem parting with our 2015 1st to improve the team. I also think that the 24th pick this year has significantly more value if the Hornets make a trade to go into complete win now mode. I think this will be the defining off-season of Cho as the Hornets GM, whether he trades some assets and go into win now mode or goes for the long game and keeps the picks banking on it developing.

I don't think Hairston will be there at 24, Stauskas has not yet shown he is much a defender but I think Coach Cliff and company can hide that if it really turns out to be a weakness.

I would rather sign MOrrow that draft Stauskas. I dont really see Stauskas becoming better than a guy like Redick. I would love to sign Stephenson though

Guys like Gordon and LaVine are intriguing prospects but they may take a little time to develop.

I heard that Chicago offered.Dunleavy and Gibson for your pick. Good or bad? Al and gibson would be a tough front court for sure.

I like Taj but I am not so sure about giving up the #9.

Not interested unless they were asking for the 24th pick.

I wouldnt give up any picks for Gibson either. I think we could get some good value with the 9th and 24th picks.

    Orlando fan here:

I think you guys are going to be dope next year, especially if you draft McDermott and PJ Hairston. I really like the makeup of your squad and want to get a Starter jacket for nostalgia purposes.
