Best "all around" or all purpose backs:

    McCoy
    Charles
    Forte
Bush (Better receiver than AP and Lynch--not a better runner and is a little small imo; but his receiving capabilities and his threat in the return game make him a better all purpose option than both AP and Lynch)
Moreno (better receiver than AP and Lynch...not a better runner-but his receiving capabilities make him a better all purpose back)

    Best backs in general:

    McCoy
    Charles
    Peterson
    Forte
    Lynch

From what I know of Mccoy, Bush, and Moreno... they are terrible at pass blocking. but i havent watched them too extensively so i could be wrong about that.

Gore is the 2nd coming of Emmit Smith, DUDE! There isnt a more consistent North-South, Hard-nosed, pass blocking, yards-after-contact, all around back in the league! Only reason i put Lynch ahead of him is because Gore doesnt have beast mode potential like Lynch.

    Plus, I'm a Niner.

Yeah I know its taboo to put down a guy who has only played for one year, but dude is all around stud, running, blocking, yards after contact, elusiveness, ect

There is no way that Lynch is "all round". Dude can't catch.

    Gotta go:
    Bush
    Forte
    Spiller
    McCoy
    Charles

In reverse order (5 at top 1 at bottom).

IMO, HB's don't need to catch. That is for the TE's and WR's. But if I want someone to catch out of the backfield, I prefer a FB to do it. Maybe that's because that is the way my Niners play, but it seems best to me. Besides, we dont judge a WR by his ability to run the ball, so neither should we judge a HB by his ability to catch. Just my opinion... catching does amount for something of course. But Lynch is excellent at blocking and the best yards after contact, north south back in the NFL (possibly of all time)

lol im not sure what your OP is stating. Are you asking for the best running/pass blocking HB? or all around, because i would consider all around to including a pass catching HB which is a huge part of that position if the player can do it. (Jamaal Charles had 70 receptions as a HB last year, he equated to about 30% of his teams offense, which made me surprised you did not include him )
