    Going to today's game

Lots of questions going into this series with this team but I can't wait and hopefully I am right when I predict the Pacers will win this series in 7.

Key to this series will obviously be the play of all our starters but I'm most intrigued to see if Evan Turner steps up his game and plays a more active role in scoring. IMO he's become a smarter offensive player these playoffs (in regards to distribution and recognition) but let's see if he takes on more of a scoring/attack threat for the 2nd unit.

Really all-around you couldn't have asked for a better game. I doubt we shoot that high a FG% again this series but it was by far the best basketball we've played this playoffs.

Funny that he was not active for the game. Be interesting to see if he plays tomorrow.

You guys already gave up HCA in the 2 previous seasons, splitting the first 2 INDY home games against both Hawks and Wiz.

You guys cannot afford to do the same against the Heat. You guys need to take game 2 as well.

We didn't....but last year IMO against a better overall Heat team we took one in Miami. The big thing here is that if it comes to game 7, it takes place in Indy and not Miami. It could easily go just like last year and we see a win every other game.

Also helps were 5-1 on the road this year in the playoffs. Were as confident there as ever. Only question is Pauls concussion...

    ^Yup. Let's remember last year....

First two at Miami - 1-1
Next two at Indiana - 1-1
Then home team won each game to close the series.

I'm confident we will take one on the road between game 3 and 4. But I'm most interested to see if PG shows any symptoms from his "concussion". Or rust. It looks like he won't get any contact practices in before Saturday's game.

Assuming PG is good-to-go game-time, I see both teams weaker than at this time last year; and by similar amounts - so I've got the HEAT in 6. I think the home team wins every game from here on out (especially cause I can't see the HEAT beating Indy 4 in a row.

I'm NOT rooting for the HEAT. I care more about both teams playing great ball, than about who wins *. I might slightly favor the HEAT, only because I think they'd give the Spurs a better series than would Indy.

    * My "horse" has been the Lakers for the past 55+ years.

Indiana Pacers star Paul George has been cleared to face the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Saturday night, the team announced.

George suffered a concussion in Game 2 earlier this week.

He will participate in the team's shootaround Saturday morning and barring any complications, will be in the lineup against the Heat. The series is tied 1-1.

"Under the care of the Indiana Pacers' medical staff, Paul George has spent the past three days engaged in the NBA's Return-to-Participation Exertion Protocol as part of the NBA's Concussion Policy," the Pacers said in a statement. "George remained symptom free after each step of the process. The Pacers staff consulted with Dr. Jeffrey Kutcher, the NBA's Director of Concussion Management, throughout George's progress through the protocol and Friday cleared him to return to normal basketball activity."
