    By Adam Caplan | ESPN.com

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with free-agent defensive tackle Amobi Okoye, his agents confirmed to ESPN.

Okoye, who was out of football last season due to an undisclosed medical issue, is reunited with Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli, who coached Okoye with the Chicago Bears (2011-2012).

He turns 27 on June 10. Okoye was 19 when the Houston Texans selected him 10th overall in the 2007 draft.

Okoye, who was born in Anambra, Nigeria, played in his first game for Louisville in 2003 at the age of 16.

Had a couple good years under Marinelli after not doing much outside of his rookie year in Houston. I remember a lot of hype about him coming out of Louisville. Anxious to see what plays out there.

sounds great to me. Get has many bodies has you can in training camp, get some good competition going, and keep the best. The more the better.

    Can't say I disagree.
For what little it was worth last year, Selvie shined out of the pile. Maybe this platoon will mesh.

I remember the hype on this guy when he came out in 07 but he was pretty much a bust. Hopefully Marinelli can get the most out of him and help us have a solid rotation.
