                                1.14 WHIP 1.71
                                7.0 IP 35.2
                                5 K's 35
                                2 BB's 11

    Scouting Report:
Braves: Floyd exceeded expectations as he delivered seven strong innings in his first start in more than a year last Tuesday. His command was better than many other pitchers have experienced after initially returning from Tommy John surgery.

Giants: Lincecum has been searching for consistency all season. Though the Giants are 5-2 in his starts, he has allowed four earned runs or more in three starts and three earned runs or fewer in four outings.

    Game 2: Tuesday, May 13th @ 7:15 PM

    VS.
    Mike Minor......Ryan Vogelsong

    Code:
                                Minor Vogelsong

                                0 Wins 1
                                2 Losses 1
                                6.97 ERA 3.93
                                1.94 WHIP 1.42
                                10.1 IP 36.2
                                10 K's 25
                                2 BB's 16

    Scouting Report:
Braves: Two solo home runs accounted for the only runs Minor surrendered in his May 2 season debut against the Giants. His two-seam fastball proved inconsistent and he struggled in two-strike counts on Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Giants: Vogelsong has surrendered two earned runs in 20 1/3 innings over his last three starts. That's a 0.89 ERA, compared to 7.71 in four outings before that span. His 2.50 ERA in three home starts contrasts with his 5.30 ERA in four road assignments.

    Game 3: Wednesday, May 14th @ 12:45 PM

    VS.
    Julio Teheran..........Madison Bumgarner
    Code:
                                Teheran Bumgarner
                                8 Starts 8
                                2 Wins 4
                                2 Losses 3
                                1.71 ERA 2.83
                                0.81 WHIP 1.41
                                58.0 IP 47.2
                                42 K's 54
                                11 BB's 15

    Scouting Report:
Braves: Teheran was at the top of his game as he allowed one hit over eight innings and retired 18 of the final 19 Cubs he faced on Friday. Solo home runs have accounted for each of the five runs he's surrendered over his past 39 innings.

Giants: Bumgarner has not yet capitalized on his pitcher-friendly home grounds. He's 1-2 with a 5.87 ERA at AT&T Park, yet has gone 3-1, 1.39 on the road.

So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

Going out on a limb here and saying the Giants get at least 2 wins in this series. Vogelsong and Bumgarner are solid (weird typing that with Ryan in there) and Sandoval is beginning to make good contact.

Going to be curious what we do at 1B while Belt is out. Arias playing everyday just won't cut it and neither does moving to Posey to 1B for Hacktor to enter the lineup.

Great series in LA. What can you say about Hicks. Is Sando waking up? Great pitching. Good to be home after a strong 7-3 road trip. This club won't give in and it won't roll over for anyone. A long way to go, but you feel and see the grit the guys have. Sando coming to life will certainly play well until BB gets back in there. Did I see Morse to first for the time being? Deserves more thought.

I hope we can get two out of three, Braves are going to be tough even though we just swept them. Hopefully, Morse can get back on track and Sandoval continues to go in the right direction.

I hope Lincecum continues to own the Braves

Would you trust a blind scout? Of course you wouldn't but that's what you do when you simply go by stats
Splifftone, OptiskeptSF and Ciaban have a lot in common

2 out of 3 seems reasonable. More confidence with Lincecum vs. the Braves than most any other team.

Why hasn't Blanco gotten a start since Belt went down?
