I think it's no Brainer Bradley Zimmer! by looks, he looks really good. And I know we have Dahl and Blackmon looks forreal. I like Dahl but I think Zimmer is a Star. Potentially. just from what I seen, I want him, We have alot Offense, but we need. have in the minor two years, see how the roster falls down. Zimmer is very nice prospect.

I haven't paid enough attention yet, but I should. 8th is nothing to sneeze at.

Jacob Gatewood, OF/SS/2B. This guy looks really good, I like him almost more than Zimmer, wait I think I do, he could fill a need in the OF. He has speed, and Power. you want that on your team.

AJ Reed, 1b. I like this guy a lot! I think he has a high potential. I think this guy is a safe pick. I think Gatewood has higher ceiling, but Reed is right there with him. He's leading the Nation with 21 Homeruns.

My Draft List as of now:

    1. Jacob Gatewood, SS/2B/OF, Most electric player in the draft, Youngest prospect, but arguably the most talented. He's a home run hitter, and can steal bases. he also very multi-dimensional. he play all are needs! OF/ 2B. This guy has the highest roof IMO.
    2. Bradley Zimmer, OF, like the overall talent, think his hitting will only get better. also has High roof.
    3. AJ Reed, 1B, Having a great season, combination of great arm/ and batting. IMO he's safest pick.
    4. Alex Jackson, Good hitter, nice arm. not sure if he can out hit everyone above this list.

I want to add more top pitching prospects to grow with Jon Gray and Eddie Butler. Moll has looked good but probably not starter quality, and Balog has been too up and down in Single A to get excited about.

I want the Rox to bring along 3 top-flight pitching prospects at the same time. This trickle-one-in-at-a-time-with-high-injury-risk is too frustrating with our big bats going to waste.

Kyle Freeland. Played my high school in baseball. Reading he throws mid 90's and arguably has the best slider in the entire draft.

He has a higher K:BB ratio then guys like Chris Sale, Jered Weaver and Strasburg. I like this. Some people don't rate him as high as Law from ESPN, but Law overall is pretty good.

I wouldn't of hated see them go with offense, but from what I see, I like the pick quite a bit. It's cool he's from here and possibly grew as a Rockies fan, but I especially like the fact that he's familiar with pitching here and apparently has had success in doing so.

Not upset with getting Freeland, but devastated with the Walls pick. I mean AJ Reed, Jacob Gatewood. still there... we go with walls. I'm a big fan of reed and gatewood, that ill still will fallow their careers for brewers and astros. but man does it sucks they ain't Rockies. I just knew either one would been awesome for this franchise...hurt as much as us passing on evan longoria years ago. Gatewood model his game with Tulo and Cargo. would been special to have him here learning from them both, he's huge, he would eventually played out field. just a HUGE miss on our part by passing on yet another Big time slugger.

Walls pick is Worst pick, especially since cubs were interested in trading Jeff Samardzija for it. just a wasted pick! god that just irritates me with Dan O'dowd makes bone headed moves like this... huge miss on this one! hard pill to swallow.
