    I'll give Emery a B. Could of been a possible A.

So I'm sittin' here talking to a dbag who likes the Cards and the 9ers....I said "What?!? You can't be a fan of two teams in the same division!" and he said "Uh, but I do!". I told him that was stupid.

Hoping for the best; so hoping it turns into an A+ (via hindsight). But, hard to understand some of the picks/passes. Hoping Ego Ferguson turns into a beast mode run stopper/starter , Fuller becomes a reliable starter/all pro, Will Sutton returns to form (1st-2nd round talent if so imo), and Carey keeps his **** together and learns all he can from Forte...could easily be an A+ if that happened imo.

At this point, not sure what to think about the draft. Probably go B, passed on a lot of talent...but hoping they have great reasons for doing so. All in all, FA coupled with the draft makes this a much better team than last year imo.

Little info: in Week 17, we played in the nickel for 95% of our snaps. Fuller was a great ****ing pick, so if anyone says it didn't fill a need... you're wrong.

So what we lookin' at Jordan Lynch as? College QB, entered draft as an RB, people throwing the TE thing around...

I like that we're bringing him in I'm just intrigued about which ways Emery/Trestman think that he can best benefit this team.

Well supposedly there is "ten different things" they can do with him. I think his versatility is the key reason he has a real shot of making the final roster. Great to dress a super athletic guy like this who can contribute in so many ways on gameday. Hard to put him in a "box" at this point, but if I had to pick one of ten things they are focused on, lets say RB.

On a random note, glad my buddy DT Chris Whaley from UT got a shot with the Cowboys. Hell of a guy, hope he makes the team (even if it is the stupid Cowgirls)

I hadn't. Interesting...their defense was serviceable (not great), but their offense was absolute garbage (ranking dead last in net total yards; yes.. even worse than the JAGS)...in that light it makes sense.

It's worth noting that, despite a lot of people here wanting him in the later rounds, when I last checked ~30 minutes ago Colt Lyerla hadn't been picked up by any team yet.

The off-field issues seem to be making him a complete non-starter.

I agree. I thought he was a 2-4 round player. What lowered his stock, or was he all media hype. He looked really good in the National Championship

@Soxfan54 The failed/diluted test sample imo...hard to believe he wouldn't have been drafted had the red flags over that not surfaced.
