I want to say 2/3 because my better judgement knows how bad Gee is against the Phillies but I'm gonna call for a sweep. Gee has been up to every task so far this season and I think we'll handle the Phils this weekend.

"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson

"One thing I want him to do," Terry Collins said of Wilmer Flores, "is when he catches the ball, throw it to first." #Mets #BabySteps
    Huh?

What happens if its a double play ball or the ball is hit hard enough to get the lead runner at 2nd base?

I'm surprised there's still this much optimism among fans here. Very good to see... Sweep the leg.

You might as well remove the phrase "Double Play" from your vernacular with Flores out there. Outrageous as they may be. We won't be turning too much of them with Flores.

FWIW, he (and whoever was his DP partner on various days) did lead the PCL in double plays turned with 21 and although they have worked on that infield in Vegas this past offseason, you'd have to believe it still plays fast, given the day time temperatures run over 100+ degrees there every day and even into the evenings.

We'll see. I know Murphy's troubles at times with the DP turn as well.

First attempt by Flores at SS.. Horrid.. Christ it takes him 5 seconds to pick himself up off the ground. This is embarrassing.

lol, should have brought up Tovar.

Mejia looks good so far. 4 grounders and a strikeout.

Flores will go 3-4 today as the Mets will rout the Phil's.

Two of three, I will be at tomorrow's gam and watch Gee get hammered yet again by the Phil's. Mets win Sunday.

Oddly, Hernandez has reverse splits this season.
