Pau to consider Lakers, Grizzlies, Bulls, and Spurs

    Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA

In an interview with http://Marca.com , Pau Gasol mentioned the Lakers, Grizzlies, Bulls, Spurs as options he'll consider this summer.
Can't seem to find the link to the marca.com interview. Will post if I find it.

lol after all the trades rumors and the trades attempts he suffered from the Lakers, he has the right to play the game of free agency.

Honestly, I don't even care if he stays or goes.

Id be ecstatic if he stays for around $8M

Id be happy for him if he joins the Griz and play alongside Marc (a 3-way S&T with Memphis and Minny)

And as much as I respect the team, Id be crushed if joins the Spurs.

There will be no future in Chicago.

Yea but the Grizz will be over the cap next year so if Pau wants any more than the MLE a S&T is the only way. But the fact that he is considering the Grizz tells you that maybe he is willing to take that kind of paycut to play with his brother. The only thing is the Grizz already have $30M+ commited to their starting frontcourt (M. Gasol + Randolph) so would Pau be willing to come off the bench?

There is something to be said about familiarity and the move ... might cost him more money, etc than the overall gain financially

For the Lakers, depending on the draft - Kaman, Hill, Sacre, uh - Lakers fans, do you want Sacre being the only big? Any other big out there even WORTH anything close to Gasol?

If I was Gasol, I'd wait to see who the coach is and make my decision from there ... there would be stability as well with Memphis and his brother since they have literally played together most of their lives.

Not the Spurs please. It's time for them to fall off already.

I will forever hate Pau if he goes to the Spurs. I seriously think the Lakers will re-sign him because I doubt we will get a big name free agent this year
