Rumor: Eric Berry to Falcons for 2nd rounder a possibility

-There’s a real possibility that Eric Berry is traded on draft day, with the Falcons being most likely. The price tag is something around a second-round pick.

I'd do that deal, but why would the chiefs want to get rid of him? They're a playoff team

He's expensive (Over 8 million) and is in need of an extension they may not be willing to pay. I find it hard to believe they're willing to deal him but I saw the rumor and figured it was worth alerting the masses. This would be unreal to happen. Grab a lineman in the first and get a starting safety that would give us one of the best tandems in the NFL with our 2nd.

Hmm good point. Well the falcons have cap space. I guess we could make it work. What do u think ?

If it's in our cap, I think we have to. Berry is only 25. This isn't like trading for Gonzalez or Samuel where you hope to get 2-3 years out of them. We could possibly have a great player for 5-6 years if we're willing to pay his contract and that pick.

I agree. I'd love berry, but I still don't see the chiefs trading him.
