    Final Mock | 3 Rounds

The 3rd round was pretty tough. So hang in there. Bold means trades

    1 Houston - Jadeveon Clowney
    2 Atlanta - Greg Robinson
    3 Jacksonville - Sammy Watkins
    4 Cleveland - Mike Evans
    5 Oakland - Jake Matthews
6 St. Louis - Khalil Mack
7 Tampa Bay - Taylor Lewan
    8 Minnesota - Aaron Donald
    9 Buffalo - Eric Ebron
    10 Detroit - Haha Clinton-Dix
    11 Tennessee - Blake Bortles
12 New York Giants - Zack Martin
13 St. Louis - Kyle Fuller
    14 Chicago - Justin Gilbert
    15 Pittsburgh - Kelvin Benjamin
16 San Francisco - Darqueze Dennard
17 New Orleans - Odell Beckham Jr
18 New York Jets - Anthony Barr
    19 Miami - Ryan Shazier
    20 Arizona - Jason Verrett
21 Green Bay - CJ Mosley
    22 Philadelphia - Brandon Cooks
    23 Kansas City - Xavier Su'a-Filo
    24 Cincinnati - Bradley Roby
25 San Diego - Marqise Lee
    26 Cleveland - Derek Carr
    27 Dallas - Ra'Shede Hageman
    28 Carolina - Jawuan James
    29 Minnesota - Teddy Bridgewater
    30 Baltimore - Joel Bitonio
    31 Buffalo - Morgan Moses
    32 Seattle - Cody Latimer

    1st Round Notes:
-I think Robinson might be on ATL radar. They said they want to get more physical upfront. There's no player in this draft more physical and explosive than Robinson. I think they trade up to pick #2 hoping HOU passes on Clowney. If not then they can decide if they want Robinson or Mack.
    - I think JACK could go Evans over Watkins. PC prefers the big physical receivers who are mismatches for 1v1. That may have rubbed off onto Bradley. In the end I just decided to go Watkins because of his playmaking ability.
-I think Robinson and Watkins are Cleveland's top 2. If those two are gone I see Mack and Evans being players. They said they don't want to use the #4 pick at QB.
-I also doubt Zimmer wants to go QB at pick #8. Donald resembles Atkins way too much for Zimmer to pass on him. It could come down to Donald and Mosley.
-I had SF trade up for a CB. I think WR trade talks are a smoke screen. They do want to trade up, but for a CB.
-SF trading up scared NO. They thought OBJ was going to be the pick. So not wanting to wait any longer and no specific glaring needs I had them trade up for the hometown WR.
    - NYJ selecting Barr was my other surprising pick. NO CBs are available and OBJ is gone. If Barr is available I bet Rex will be screaming for him. They can find their playmaker later.

33 Houston - Louis Nix (Traded for Ryan Mallet)
    34 Washington - Cyrus Kouandjio
    35 Cleveland - Marcus Roberson
    36 Oakland - Johnny Manziel
37 St. Louis - Allen Robinson
    38 Chicago - Stephon Tuitt
    39 Jacksonville - Dee Ford
40 New England - Dominique Easley
    41 Denver - Chris Borland
    42 Tennessee - EJ Gaines
43 New York Giants - Timmy Jernigan
44 St. Louis - Trai Turner
    45 Detroit - Kony Ealy
    46 Pittsburgh - Stanley Jean-Baptiste
    47 Dallas - Lamarcus Joyner
    48 Baltimore - Deone Bucannon
    49 New York Jets - Austin Seferian-Jenkins
    50 Miami - Antonio Richardson
51 Tampa Bay - Demarcus Lawrence
    52 Arizona - AJ McCarron
53 Green Bay - Jordan Matthews
    54 Philadelphia - Marcus Smith
    55 Cincinnati - Kareem Martin
    56 Baltimore - Davante Adams
57 San Diego - DaQuan Jones
58 Dallas - Kyle Van Noy
    59 Indianapolis - Weston Richburg
    60 Carolina - Donte Moncrief
61 San Francisco - Paul Richardson
62 New England - Troy Niklas
    63 Denver - Keith McGill
64 New York Jets - Martavis Bryant

65 New England - Scott Crichton (Ryan Mallet trade)
    66 Washington - Jimmie Ward
    67 Oakland - Carl Bradford
    68 Atlanta - Carlos Hyde
69 Tampa Bay - Gabe Jackson
    70 Jacksonville - Marcus Martin
    71 Cleveland - Bishop Sankey
72 New England - Travis Swanson
    73 Denver - Cyril Richardson
74 New York Giants - Jace Amaro
75 St. Louis - Jeremy Hill
    76 Detroit - Jarvis Landry
77 San Francisco - Trent Murphy
    78 Dallas - James Hurst
    79 Baltimore - Jeremiah Attaochu
    80 Seattle - Brent Urban
    81 Miami - Dakota Dozier
82 Tampa Bay - Tajh Boyd
    83 Cleveland - Brandon Thomas

Rather get Dennard than a guy we would trade down for. Then Matthews in RD2.

Another thing I forgot to put was I heard OT might be going early. I've been hearing Moses to CAR but I've heard most teams like James over Moses. Supposably many scouts and analysts are saying Robinson, Matthews, Lewan, Martin, Moses, And J James are all locks for the first round. Kouandjio would could replace them but teams are afraid of his knee. I also have Moncrief and Adams going lower than I think they will go. It was tough slotting them places with team needs elsewhere.

I'd rather have Marcus Martin than grap the crap. Way to similar to gabbert.

Martin fixes our center or rg spot and is only 20. I'm not all about age but Martin would help us more than grap. I would spend a 5th on him. He'll give me gLennon for a 3rd.

The way you have it laid out, I could see Detroit picking Van Noy over Ealy in 2, and Landry over Hurst in 3.

Big needs at OLB & WR. Our OL was pretty good last year with a lot of young talent.

I really wanted to put Landry in the 3rd. I just felt he was too similar to Tate. Which isn't a bad thing, I just wasn't sure if I should put him there.

What's another major need? Is RB too early for a 3rd round pick? What about DB? I like Grop and think he fits well in Jack. I think he looks more like Flacco than Gabbert.

Our biggest remaining needs after those 2 picks are rg, c, fs(No need to reach just want an earl Thomas like guy).

We really don't need another rb that early. I'd say a day 3 pick on 1 should be fine.

Martin should fit in perfectly in that regards.

    Ok there you go.

If it goes this way I think NE, GB, and CLE had the best drafts. HOU also had a good draft

Yea it's totally terrible getting one of the most polished OL in recent memory and one of the most loved players in recent memory. If Manziel can sit and watch for a couple of seasons it could turn his career around. Also getting him in the 2nd is a big steal. I wanted to put Donald but I think #5 might be a little too high for him. If they trade down that may have been my pick if he was there.

I get that it's an option and very possible, just the idea of a first round guard pisses me off. No matter the prospect

I would literally much rather have any of the next 3 guys you mocked over Matthews and I wouldn't want Manziel anywhere near this team.

    Minnesota has my perfect draft.
