Pacers in 6. Wall and Beal will give us troubles up top but if they play more traditional with an actual center, then I think we can make them play our game easily.

And I just sold my tickets to tomorrow night's game too too early of a wake up call for me (4:40) to manage.

One thing I'm really curious to see is our lineup this series...the last two games we did not use Scola or Turner at all. Does that continue here? Turner I wouldn't be surprised....but Scola should get a crack.

This is a really interesting series. Wall can take over the series like Teague, but Pacers should feel pretty confident considering they played their best ball in game 7.
So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

Defensively....PG on Wall, Lance on Ariza, Hill on Beal.

    It's this simple:

If Vogel wants to let them play the ISO and mid range game, then Roy and Ian need to both be on the bench and let Cope, West, and Scola stretch the floor and open the lane for penetration for PG, Lance, and even Hill forcing the D to honor the mid range and 3 with Cope.

If Vogel wants to give them minutes, we need to move the ball, pass off screens (which was a little better last night), move without the ball, and actually play inside out at least on occasion. I saw Hill cut to the basket when Roy had the ball....and I'll be damned if he didn't get the pass from Roy.

To be honest I could care less at this point which way Vogel goes, but you can't give Roy and Ian minutes and keep running this crap fest ISO offense. It doesn't take Popovich to understand that if you have someone that can't hit a jump shot playing the center position, clearing them out of the lane for an ISO is going to end up with another help defender in the lane because they don't have to honor Roy or Ian's shot from mid range. It also removes a potential offensive rebounder.... If you aren't going to run a play or two on occasion that they can succeed in, you might as well leave them in the locker room and go full time small ball.

HUGE win tonight. All-around was terrific...I'm still trying to figure out a place for Scola in this series (as well as Turner) but tonight was all-around terrific...great 2nd half. Let's make it 3-1 on mother's day.

Don't look now but we are 4-1 in the last 5 games of the playoffs.

    First 5 games (2-3)
    Average scored: 93.7
    Average allowed: 95.8

    Last 5 games (4-1)
    Average scored - 90.8
    Average allowed - 88.2

Btw I hate that the tip today is at 8PM...it's sunday, there is a game at 3:30 already...no reason our tip shouldn't be at 6 or 7

The way the Pacers played tonight makes them look like they want to play in the WNBA ECFs and not the NBA ECFs. This series could go 7 with the Wizards winning it.
