Vote to trade #7th pick (player) if we select #7.

If we indeed keep the #7 slot, I would like to get a feel on how many would prefer to keep, or trade the pick.

I guess other will have to be to trade who ever we draft for another player. I can't edit the poll.

I would try to trade it for a PF. At #7, I think that the best case would be to draft Vonleh. I think Vonleh can be good, but it will probably take 3 years or so. I would prefer to trade for someone who can step in and contribute.

One exception, if we lose Gay then I would keep the pick. We need another star player if we lose Gay, so we might as well swing for the fences with a guy like Smart or Gordon.

Depends on draft day. If Randle is there, I'd keep it... otherwise deal it.
So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

I really think the draft is solid top 5-6, drops off slightly until 15. I really want to trade back to around there, add a solid vet and get rid of JT. Like flip 7 for 12 JT, IT for Aflallo Jameer nelson? Or like Len and 15 for JT and 7? Perhaps IT, JT 7, for Dragic 15 Len (or filler)? Teague, 15 (filler) for JT,IT 7? Kevin Love, 13th for IT, JT 7th and future 1st? (I realize some of these are lopsided or unlikely- this type of deal)

Not sure if it works.. but what about 7 and jt to phill for the 10 and young....

then trade the 10 and it and Landry or filler for a later pick like Chicago or thunder.. Butler or Reggie And jackson

I like that- i think it works talent wise. If you throw in Jason Terry or the like it works financially.the second doesn't though

Not sure if Philly would do it, but would you guys trade our pick for Nerlins Noel?

Could be a dream fit next to boogie... I'd give up pick 7-9 and one of our bigs no problem.

They probably won't do it but yes I would do it. I think the 8th pick overall is very unimpressive and Noel could of just as easily been 1st overall last season.

Trade Heyword (S/T) 23 pick for 8th pick and JT filler. or Kanter 23 for JT 8

As bad as we would like to get rid of JT that is the same feeling teams have about acquiring JT. I think J.T. has proven he would be a quality backup on a playoff quality team, however his contract is poor and that degrades his value. It's not going to be easy trading J.T. and Utah is not going to trade either Heyward or Kanter to get J.T. The value of the #8 pick is not very high so teams are not going to be trading players they like to attain the #8 pick and a backup quality player with a poor contract.

If we want to trade the #8 pick we need to find a team that needs to shed salary going after a marquee player like Carmelo or hopefully Lebron. Or make a trade like we did for Salmons moving down a few spots. Personally I think we will most likely be stuck at 8.
