What would it take to trade Sherman?

What would you have to get from a team to trade Sherman?
For me it would have to be a top ten pick this year and at least a 1 & a 2 next year. It would free up a large sum of cash for Russell and set us up through the next 2-4 years in the draft.

We don't need to trade Sherman to be cap safe. We can sign Wilson and Sherman without depleting our team. The salary cap keeps rising and Seattle knows how to get around the cap numbers. They are great at designing cap friendly contracts.

If we were to trade Sherman it would have to be for gold. It would have to be for multiple first round picks. We would also make sure that we have CBs who can come in and play. ET allows us to play man, but so does Sherman. We are able to play man because he is able to play man. So only way we can stay as productive is to make sure we have a corner to replace him. I would guess Maxwell would be that guy. I don't trust any of the corners in this draft to come in and try to replace what he did. Not that none of these CBs are capable of being as good, but I highly doubt they can come in right now and be as productive. We are trying to win multiple SBs. We won't give up a valuable piece of our team without knowing we can replace him immediately.

I don't see Sherman going anywhere our defense is built on the DB's i would say they carried us until we got to the playoffs when the pass rush started to be really effective.

We would need to have multiple draft picks in multiple years to cover the depletion.

    How about a 1st 2nd and 4th this year, a 1st and 3rd next year and a 2nd and 4th in year 3....

We would get 1 or two good prospects that stick this year and 1 or two next year and maybe one other.

Odds are not in favor of picks sticking with a team. Spreading high pick dept over multiple seasons would allow better odds for longer term success. We could also trade for another young probowl player from a position of impact for our team plus a good draft pick or two.

It's hard to set a price for trading away a sure thing.

It would take JJ Watt or Aaron Rodgers. That's about it.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

Nothing.. The return wouldn't be worth the loss.
