Detroit Tigers (12-9) @ Chicago White Sox (14-13)

    Tuesday April 29, 2014 @ 7:10pm CT on DaU
Justin Verlander (3-1 2.18 ERA) vs. Jose Quintana (1-2 3.90 ERA)

Verlander has won his last three starts, throwing seven innings of two-run ball in two of them, as he continues to progress into his 2011-12 form once again. He has 22 strikeouts over 19 innings in those last three outings.

Quintana hasn't had his best stuff his last two outings, surrendering eight earned runs on 16 hits in 11 innings. He'll look to exact revenge against the Tigers, who beat him Thursday. Quintana allowed three earned in six innings in that outing.

    Wednesday April 30, 2014 @ 1:10pm CT on WGN & MLBN
Max Scherzer (2-1 2.45 ERA) vs. TBD

Scherzer gets a rematch against a White Sox lineup he teased for 10 strikeouts over six innings of two-run ball Thursday afternoon in Detroit. He split decisions in two starts at Chicago late last season.

    Verlander and Scherzer.

I picked swept. Scherzer was suppose to pitch today but thanks to rain in the Tigers game Sunday we get both of their aces.

Sox bats, prove me wrong please.

    .

The official Sox depth chart doesn't even try to list 5 starters...http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/team...x.jsp?c_id=cws.

It would be nice to see someone out of Johnson, Rienzo, Hanson, Paulino, Carroll, Leesman, Axelrod or Surkamp step up to become a reliable 4th starter. Then I'd be willing to throw dice for the 5th starter.

God just beat these bastards for once. Taking that leap will mean way more than 2 games in the standings. Splitting at Detroit was a good start, though.

Didn't RV say it was going to be Noesi? He said he'd like to get 5 IP out of him.

Will check another sports site. CBS had Erik.

Quintana is holding up well so far opposite of Verlander. After 3 innings, 2/3 of the outs are via the K.

Eaton doubles in Semien, Beckham doubles in Eaton and Dunn doubles in Beckham. .

-30 is Viciedo's new name, because that's the amount of runs he will cost the Sox in RF. He will have a negative fWAR no matter how well he hits, which will eventually go away too.
