Niese: Niese's ERA is down to 2.45 after throwing 6 2/3 innings of one-run ball last time out, against the Cardinals. He allowed just one run in 15 2/3 innings against the Phillies last season but is 2-4 with a 4.50 ERA for his career at Citizens Bank Park.
Hamels: Hamels makes his first start of the season at Citizens Bank Park after making his season debut Wednesday at Dodger Stadium, where he allowed six hits, two runs, one walk and struck out five in six innings of a Phillies loss.

Colon: Colon's ERA may be 4.50, but more than half the runs against him came in one start. In his other four outings, he holds a 2.33 ERA with 23 strikeouts and one walk. Colon has pitched in more career games at Veterans Stadium than Citizens Bank Park.
Kendrick: Kendrick has yielded three earned runs or less in his last three starts, but has allowed 36 hits in 30 2/3 innings this season.

Not sure where to go here as we usually own Hamels but Kendrick has been fairly solid against us for his career. I bet we see Abreu start game 2 against Kendrick as well.

    I say we sweep.

Lagares is eligible to come off the DL tomorrow, but he'll probably be back on Thursday in Colorado. That's not too far from Vegas.

Really interested to see how playing time gets allocated. I love how almost all the questions in ST were not answered.(Ike/Duda, EY/Lagares, etc)
