    Prospects you were wrong about

I'm bored and dying of draft fever. So, for discussion, who are some prospects of the past years that you were wrong about?

    Mine:

David Carr - This was the first draft I really paid attention to at all. To this day, I think Carr could have been a great quarterback given better surroundings in his developmental years.

Donte Stallworth - I thought this guy was going to torch the league

EJ Henderson - He had a good career, all things considered. But I was 100% on his guy's bandwagon the year we passed on him for Barnett. At this time, we desperately needed a run-stopping Mike, and I was convinced this guy was the next Jeremiah Trotter

Erasmus James - Similarly, I thought he was the next Jevon Kearse

Kyle Orton - I was hoping the year we took A-Rod that we'd grab him in the third. He reminded me of Brett, back when we were looking for Brett's replacement.

Of this group, James is the only one I would really classify as a true bust. But none of them lived up to my expectations.

Jp losman- thought he was the next Pennington
Aj hawk- thought he would be the next urlacher type dominance
Alex green- thought he would be starting material
Ahmad Carroll- didn't think he would suck balls
    Robert ferguson- never blossomed
Marviel underwood- thought he would be a good starting caliber safety for us...
Many, many more.. But these are the ones that quickly came to mind .

Haha, I don't see the similarities between Losman and Pennington.

I agree on Ferguson though. He always had the ability. He just never put it together.

Not style because losmans arm was much stronger. Basically just a stable starting qb of chad's quality. Hell Pennington I was wrong about for that matter, haha. I always thought he'd get better

Pennington's only issue was injuries. He would've done a lot more if he would've stayed healthy.

My list would be ****ing endless.

Ponder is probably a big one. I thought he was going to be Matt Ryan with wheels.

Nothing is coming to m ind but if I went class by class it would go on and on.

Watching those kids come out of the triple option at GT is tricky.

Ya basically see a great athlete but he's only a 3 route runner. I still tend to be a sucker.

My top 10 was pretty ridiculous.

    1 2 Ndamukong Suh
    2 5 Eric Berry
    3 3 Gerald McCoy
    4 6 Russell Okung
    5 4 Trent Williams
    6 24 Dez Bryant
    7 14 Earl Thomas
    8 7 Joe Haden
    9 1 Sam Bradford
    10 8 Rolando McClain

Literally every single guy hit except Bradford, injuries, and still may.

    McClain being a gangstaa

I got to Kindle before I really bombed and that was meds.

I'm trying to look without looking but I think

Bold is PBers. I expect it to be 3x worse than that lol

Another one was Greg Salas, I thought he was going to be a monster who could play inside and out.

a prospect that I have no problems admitting I was wrong about is Ricky Elmore. That kid in college was a stud and I thought he was gonna be a solid player in the NFL and I was so happy that the Packers drafted him and now I think it is lingering on a PS somewhere

I loved Melvin Ingram and he has yet to do anything impactful on the football field except get injured.
