Tough viewing a schedule before the season. It can look very easy and boom your in the season and it's extremely tough. It can look fairly difficult and then your in the season and it's not that bad.

Playing Rodgers/Manning/Brady isn't fun though. I'm just glad that Denver game is home.

I'm confident though. Draft well and our team should be competitive throughout. If teams still underestimate them, it's their fault.

Who knows what the season brings, but I can't lie that schedule looks kind of brutal.

To me looks like a tough schedule, should be a good test for our young retooled team.

    My predictions -

Worst case scenario, another 8-8 season.

    Best case, 10-6.

Final prediction for 2014 Jets season, 9-7.

We're a young team and we are still going to have growing pains. I still feel the secondary wasn't properly addressed during the FA. I like what Idzik did on offense, but there are still some gaping holes in our secondary specifically at the safety positions. I don't think we are going to finish worse then last year, and I cannot wait until the draft.

Idzik made awesome moves for the offensive side of the ball. He brought in Decker, signed Vick, signed Chris Johnson, and even added a viable special teams weapon in Jacoby Ford that we can use in some plays on offense. I just feel like we could of added a guy or two more for our secondary... That is all.

    Week 1-- Oakland WIN
Week 2-- @ Green Bay LOSS
Week 3-- Chicago (Monday Night) WIN
    Week 4-- Detroit LOSS
Week 5-- @ San Diego WIN
    Week 6-- Denver LOSS
Week 7-- @ New England (Thursday Night) LOSS
    Week 8-- Buffalo WIN
Week 9-- @ Kansas City WIN
    Week 10-- Pittsburgh LOSS
    Week 11-- Bye
    Week 12-- @Buffalo WIN
Week 13-- Miami (Monday Night) WIN
    Week 14-- @Minnesota WIN
    Week 15-- @ Tennessee WIN
    Week 16-- New England LOSS
    Week 17-- @Miami WIN

I guess 10-6. But after the Raiders, our schedule is freaking tough. We need a solid start and a strong finish.

Not doing predictions but I wouldn't even be too worried about the dreaded Broncos-Pats in 4 days had the Pats game been at home. But yeah, that sucks. Hard to predict. Hate that we have New England so late in the season also, right when it will come down to the playoffs.

    Wow, brutal.

This team needs to be 4-1 going into the Broncos game if we're going to make some noise, which is doable. Detroit is in the first year under a new regime, and (I don't have any stats to back this up, just a general feeling) Rex usually does pretty well against rookie head coaches.

We seem to always steal one from NE and give one away to Buffalo. But, damn that schedule is scary. We could play a lot better than last year, and still end up finishing 6-10.

The defense better be flat out dominant this year if we're going to make some noise...
