    2014 schedule

It's dropping tonight. Hopefully the NFL doesn't give the Saints a brutal stretch like they have the past two seasons (home for SF, 4 days later in ATL with the bonus of going to Seattle after that stretch last season).

Worst case woukd be going to Chicago, Cleveland and Pittsburgh all in November/December. I want weather neutralized.

I stared at last year's schedule going over all the possible W/L outcomes for a while. Can't wait to see what primetime slots we get.

No matter what the schedule is I am not expecting anything special from the Saints. I'm thinking we will probably just win 13 to 14 games with a Superbowl victory in Arizona - nothing special.
    LET'S ROLL SAINTS!!!

http://thedomepatrol.wordpress.com/2014-schedule/ Link to next year's schedule. At first glance, I really like it. 3 of first 4 games are away. But it's at Atlanta, at Cleveland and at Dallas and a home game vs the Vikings. SOLIDDDDDDD

3 straight home games in the middle of the season. I do like that.

Sunday night against the Packers, then Thursday night in Carolina might be tough.

No excuse for not starting 5-1.

Week 1:*Sunday, Sep. 7, at Atlanta, 1 p.m. I think Atlanta will need time to get it together. Best time to travel there. Win

Week 2:*Sunday, Sep. 14, at Cleveland, 1 p.m. This game reeks of a game the Saints' annual clunker, but I'll say they pull it off. Win

    Week 3:*Sunday, Sep. 21, Minnesota, 1 p.m. Win

    Week 4:*Sunday, Sep. 28, at Dallas, 8:30 p.m. Win

    Week 5:*Sunday, Oct. 5, Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. Win

    Week 6:*BYE

    Week 7:*Sunday, Oct. 19, at Detroit, 1 p.m. Win

Week 8:*Sunday, Oct. 26, Green Bay, 8:30 p.m. Time for payback from Week 1 2011. Win.

Week 9:*Thursday, Oct. 30, at Carolina, 8:25 p.m. Short week and going on the road isn't good for the Saints. Loss

Week 10:*Sunday, Nov. 9, San Francisco, 1:00 p.m. Saints will win the tough ones at home. Win.

    Week 11:*Sunday, Nov. 16, Cincinnati, 1:00 p.m. Win

    Week 12:*Monday, Nov. 24, Baltimore, 8:30 p.m. Win

Week 13:*Sunday, Nov. 30, at Pittsburgh, 1 p.m I don't think Pittsburgh will be good, but the Saints lose weird ones. Loss.

    Week 14:*Sunday, Dec. 7, Carolina, 1 p.m. Win,

Week 15:*Monday, Dec. 15, at Chicago, 8:30 p.m. I think they come up big in Chicago again. Win.

    Week 16:*Sunday, Dec. 21, Atlanta, 1 p.m. Win

Week 17:*Sunday, Dec. 28, at Tampa Bay, 1 p.m. Never play well in Tampa. Loss

13-3. Win total might be a little high, but I don't see them losing in the Dome even against competition like GB and SF. Road games against Cleveland and Detroit worry me because the Saints usually lose one on the road that they shouldn't. The Chicago came could be troublesome, too.

Agree, even with 3 road games, we should go into the bye at 4-1 at worst. Packers-Bears stretch will be tough but I like our chances in all those road games. 13-3 sounds about right.

Our road schedule is awesome. I'm more worried about our home games this year.

    Best case scenario: 15-1

    Worst case scenario: 10-6

I think they'll go 8-0 at home, but worst case would be 6-2. On the road I see them going 5-3, but worst case is 4-4.

Almost every team has a Thursday game. What I hate is a Sunday night game chased by a Thursday night game. What's worse is that it is on the road against a division rival...for the third straight year.
