    Latest arena news...

SACRAMENTO, CA - The City of Sacramento today posted the staff report for the April 22 Council meeting on the Entertainment and Sports Center (ESC). The staff report highlights the progress the City and the Sacramento Kings have made in finalizing the terms of the development agreement, as well as the development of the financing plan for the City’s contribution to the ESC.

In response, Kings President Chris Granger issued the following:

"Today's report shows how much progress the City and Kings continue to make on the new entertainment and sports center. After listening to our fans, our players, City leaders and the public, we have decided to invest an additional $30 million to enhance the public plaza, improve the L Street façade, and build a state-of-the-art practice facility that will help recruit the best players to Sacramento. We look forward to sharing the full vision for the project with the Council and public on May 13, and commencing demolition May 14."

    Great to hear.
So Anna, what do you think about the notion that Russell Wilson is better than Andrew Luck?

Although the Kings went through another abysmal year, its still an exciting time to be a Kings fan. We have a lot to look forward to in the near future. The new regime has a year under their belt, and it should only get better.

I consider this season a win, even if we sucked more balls than a hooker at a truckstop.

    Here's why:
    1. Maloof's got the **** out of town.
    2. Seattle still has no hoop team
    3. New Arena on the way.
    4. Jimmer took his talent to Chicago
    5. New owners who aren't afraid to spend some cheese
    6. Maloofs got the **** out of town.

Number 4 was not a win. Losing Freejimmer was a huge blow to the forum.

I haven't checked the Bulls forum, but I envision that Freejimmer has littered it with posts about why the Bulls are down 0-2 in the series.
