Refs are "blowing" the whistle too much

Worst officiating I have ever seen. Too many silly calls. It reminds me of watching the NBA

I feel as though fans of either team in the CHI/STL series would disagree with you to this point.

Yeah I'm actually not one of those people complaining. I prefer to let hockey players play hockey. But most feel that the refs have let this series get out of control after only 2 games. Supposedly they were instructed by the league to crack way down tonight for Game 3

Game 3 tonight in Minnesota has done alright. Huge miss call by the refs and a delay of game at the end of the 3rd against minny. Matt Cooke will be suspended probably close to what Seabrook got. Knee to knee repeat offender

Refs are "blowing" the whistle too much

I don't think they've been bad in the Boston-Detroit series either

The league been getting embarrassed by the huge obvious dirty hits and the lack of penalties/suspensions around them. They've got to make it look like they're doing something, so they'll have the refs call better for a game or two, some fans complain that it makes the game boring, and then go back to letting people try to injure others.

Refs have been fine from what I've seen. This comes up every single year.

I'd be shocked if Cooke didn't get at least 5 with his history. That was deliberate. Plus Barrie is out 4-6 weeks.

Most games I've watched the announcers haven't been able to find the call on the replay. It's been brutal

I've actually liked the refereeing this offseason? Probably because my squad isn't playing though.
