    Miami Marlins (9-10) @ Atlanta Braves (12-6) 4/21-4/23

    @

    Miami Marlins @ Atlanta Braves

    Monday, 4/21 7:10 PM

    Tom Koehler, RHP (2-1, 1.89 ERA/3.97 FIP/4.64 xFIP)vs Julio Teheran, RHP (2-1, 1.93 ERA/3.83 FIP/4.64 xFIP)

Koehler stepped up and stopped the bleeding, beating the Nationals in his last outing to snap Miami's eight-game losing streak. In seven shutout innings, he allowed one hit. His 112 pitches were one shy of a personal high.

After matching a career high while allowing the Nationals 10 hits on April 11, Teheran tossed a three-hit shutout against the Phillies on Wednesday. He has thrown 110-plus pitches in two of his past three starts.

    Tuesday, 4/22 7:10 PM

    Jose Fernandez, RHP (2-1, 2.66 ERA/2.15 FIP/2.25 xFIP)vs Alex Wood, LHP (2-2, 1.67 ERA/3.52 FIP/2.88 xFIP)

Fernandez comes off a dominating performance with a no-decision vs. Washington, striking out 10 and allowing three unearned runs in seven innings. Lifetime on the road, he is 3-7 (4.00). Against the Braves, he is 1-1, 2.08.

Wood will be looking to rebound from the tough-luck loss he took while notching a season-high eight innings on Thursday in Philadelphia. He has completed at least seven innings in three of his first four starts.

    Wednesday, 4/23 12:10 PM

    Nathan Eovaldi, RHP (1-1, 3.55 ERA/2.25 FIP/3.31 xFIP)vs Aaron Harang, RHP (3-1, 0.70 ERA/2.77 FIP/4.46 xFIP)

Eovaldi has worked at least six innings in each of his four starts. He gave up three runs (one earned) in six innings in his last outing, vs. Seattle. The right-hander is 1-1 (2.79 ERA) in five career starts at Turner Field.

Harang was lifted from Friday's start against the Mets after throwing 121 pitches over seven hitless innings. The 35-year-old veteran has carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning during two of his first four starts of this season.

Not too confident about this series...Marlins have stud pitching and our offense hasn't been impressive so any mistake the pitching makes, should they make one, make cost dearly.

But, we'll see. Fernandez vs Wood. Isn't that just ****in glorious. One of my favorite non-brave players against my favorite Braves player.

we are going to see tough pitching in this series, Fernandez is not the same outside Miami so we should be able to win 2 out of 3

    Book end wins.

Damn, Harang's xFIP is not pretty. "Selling high" jumps to the front of my mind.

It has been really slow on the forum this year. We need to pick it up.

By the way, I lost all faith in Dan (Conrad) Uggla. If you cant make the routine plays, you're dead to me. UGhhhh

    Go Braves.

Was it Eovaldi who kept us in check last year? If so, this series could be rough.

I'm watching the games through my Ipad instead of my laptop, that makes it a little bit tougher for me to post during games.

Wow two great defensive plays in that inning. Teheran's pick and throw on that bunt should make web gems.
