    standing pat this off season

If the lakers do nothing in FA this year suck next year and get a top 14 pick. Do they keep 2015 pick? Or does it go to the suns?

Knowing this organization lately, they would win just enough games to get the 6th pick.

I think Lakers will make playoffs next year and I don't care what other fans say, they got the money and kobe's determination I think its gonna happen. They most likely will not compete for a chip but I could see them getting anywhere from 5th-8th seed.

    My message to the Lakers:

Compete for a championship or GTFO!

More likely than not, the Lakers will further sabotage their future by making some shortsighted move to appease the fans.

I wouldn't mind though if it's a smart move... Like if there is an angry all-star out there that we can trade for this off-season. Maybe Irving for our pick (if it's low enough).

How do you know he won't be ready by training camp? Has this been reported?

His body is about as broken down as Nash at this point, D'Antoni system exacerbated the problem. Even if he comes back by training camp he won't last half a season.

common sense... he hasn't even started rehabbing...

I think some of you really don't understand the severity of his injury combined with his achilles injury...

He's been "rehabbing" for quite some time...and didn't he just get cleared for running and shooting like this morning?

Not saying I know when he will be set to go, but he's reportedly been increasing his activity level for a few weeks now.
