    Player Comparisons

I was thinking about a couple of athletes in different sports that resemble styles of play/attitude/demeanor in the NFL.

For instance, Jay Cutler is the Carmelo Anthony of the NBA. Although he is a good QB, I don't see him winning a championship in his career, much like Carmelo.

Compare players in the NFL to players in any professional league. Ie: NBA, MLB, NHL, NASCAR, etc.

Blue 69, Blue 6999999, Settt, Go!

It shouldn't. He's not really comparing NFL players. This is a cool topic.

    That makes sense.

I can't really think of any. Maybe Steve Nash and Adam Vinatieri? I'm bad at this.

Oh OH! What about Metta World Peace and Brandon Marshall?

    Nah he fits MJ better

I'm trying to think of one. Sherman's kind of like the Nyjer Morgan of the NFL, just with talent.

Lol I see, I don't follow the NBA enough to know people hated Curry.

I don't think people hate either one of those two.

I would thing of Sherman like the Brian Wilson of the NFL. Never shuts up but has the talent to back it up.

Tony Gonzales is the Big Papi of the NFL. He was old as ****, everyone called him done, but did nothing but ball.

If I had a nickle for every time I read about how they only are good because of the system, or there's no way they can keep up the production, or so lucky to be in the "offensive era of sports", ect, ect.

People hate, they just mask it.
