We have a chance... Our bench is playing well recently and in a good flow. We are on a 9-1 streak for the last 10. Lillard seems like the type who would shine in the playoffs. Guys like LA are tired of losing. TRob is motivated and even though he won't admit it, will probably work extra hard against Houston. Freeland is back and gives us another option with size. There are a lot of things to like.
I hope we attack some of their prime guys hard from the start to hopefully get them in foul trouble or at least backpedaling a little bit. Houston is pretty limited if they lose Harden or Parsons. I hope Batum steps up, it sounded like he knew it was his time to do so when he was interviewed.
Seriously awesome play. Not just luckily hitting shots, we are playing smart, cutting off passing lanes on defense, and really just tactfully taking Houston out of it. And the refs are rewarding us probably due to that superior effort and positioning.
Some shaky plays to start the 2nd. I'm not liking that we gave them enough room to shoot several 3s, and they hit a few. Could have been worse. Couple guys look a little nervous so far. Wes is looking like a monster, who will take nothing but victory.
The great thing about this series is if we beat Houston, we will have evolved as a team to do the things we aren't known for, and will be serious competition against anyone. We are already showing signs of it with the aggressive post play and some big defensive plays and rebounding.
