Arizona Diamondbacks (4-14) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (10-6)

    .........................

Arizona Diamndbacks (4-14) @ Los Angeles Dodgers (10-6)

    Dodger Stadium

Game 1. Friday, 7:10PM. SportsNet LA

    Zack Greinke

    16.1 IP | 2.76 ERA | 4.04 FIP | 0.5 WAR

This will be Greinke's second consecutive start against the D-Backs and he can't get enough of them, going 3-0 with a 1.78 ERA in four starts for the Dodgers against them.
    vs.

    Wade Miley

    25.0 IP | 5.04 ERA | 4.06 FIP | 0.2 WAR

Wade Miley struggled with his command in his last outing and the Dodgers made him pay. L.A. tagged him for five runs on eight hits in five innings, matching Miley's shortest outing of the season, also vs. the Dodgers on Opening Night in Australia.
Game 2. Saturday, 5:10PM. SportsNet LA and MLB Network

    Dan Haren

    17.2 IP | 2.04 ERA | 3.17 FIP | 0.5 WAR

Haren battled in Arizona and escaped multiple jams against his former team, stung in particular by Eric Chavez's three-run homer, but did just enough to get his second win.
    vs.

    Mike Bolsinger

    3.0 IP | 6.00 ERA | 3.06 FIP | 0.0 WAR

Bolsinger will be making his first big league start. Promoted from Triple-A last week, he made his first appearance Monday in relief of Josh Collmenter. He allowed two runs on six hits over three innings.
Game 3. Sunday, 1:10PM. SportsNet LA

    Josh Beckett

    9.0 IP | 4.00 ERA | 5.17 FIP | 0.0 WAR

The Dodgers were pleased to see Beckett rebound with an effective start against the Giants, holding them scoreless for five innings despite walking five and hitting a batter.
    vs.

    Josh Collmenter

    12.0 IP | 3.75 ERA | 4.06 FIP | 0.2 WAR

Collmenter will be making his second start of the year after beginning the season in the bullpen. In his first start, on Monday against the Mets, he allowed three runs on five hits over four innings before reaching his pitch limit.

Great! After losing 2/3 dodgers get to win 3 straight!

Kershaw threw a 35 pitch bullpen session he was throwing breaking balls and his fastball velocity was around 90 or so. Hopefully he will be back in two weeks or so.

That's great news. Just hope they don't rush him back too soon.

I haven't heard of Kershaw throwing much over 90 this year which concerns me a little, dude used to hit 97

Was listening to Kershaw last year saying that he can still pump up the velocity to 95-97 but holds back for better control and pitch to contact a lot of the times. So he sits around 93 for the most part. Him only throwing 90 doesn't concern me given where the injury was and I'm pretty sure he wasn't throwing even close to 100% yesterday.

Definitely see us winning with Greinke and Haren over the next two games. If Beckett can pitch well we are going to have such a legit 5 man rotation (when Kershaw comes back).

FanGraphs' game odds give the Dodgers with this lineup a 60% chance to beat the Diamondbacks and their lineup

    60% seems low to me.

Projections are normally conservative. 60% is failry goods odds.

Not that we need projections to feel good about winning at home against one of the worst teams in MLB.

60% means the Dodgers are almost twice as likely to win as to lose.

    Good enough lineup, I guess.

Jokes about Fed-X and Greinke aside, makes more sense to have the real hitter infront of Puig.
