Epic! can't wait till the playoffs.
Haha Huskie sighting at 00:45.
Smart marketing. Totally loved it.
Video's been removed.
There was a Huskie...? You know that interview that Leiweke did with Strombo a little while ago, the one where Leiweke said that they can and will re-sign Lowry? I watched the whole actually and at one point they started talking about the Raptor name and Strombo said he was happy that they didn't change it -- and he asked Leiweke how close they were to changing it to Huskies. Leiweke said real close. But then he said something along the lines of "Well, what makes you think we still won't change it?"
video was removed? anyone know where else to watch it?
“The pleasure of rooting for Goliath is that you can expect to win. The pleasure of rooting for David is that, while you don’t know what to expect, you stand at least a chance of being inspired.”
This is the better video (longer).

Pretty sure it was a wolf not a husky. Cool vid. My favorite was, "Nowhere near the South side".
it was a huskie... obviously a big and huskie one lol.
but what would a wolf have to do with anything.
That's a wolf.
http://www.thestar.com/business/2014...the_north.htmlThe ad acknowledges the franchise’s past, featuring a shot of a husky dogs trotting onto a blacktop court – the Toronto Huskies played the 1946-47 season in a league that would later become the NBA.
The ambiguity is the point IMO. Smart branding, featuring a husky in flashes like that makes it ominous and threatening, not cuddly like some might think of a husky, but dangerous like a wolf (or a Raptor). Smart identity work on the branding side.
