IGT: Philadelphia Flyers at Pittsburgh Penguins

    Time: 3:00pm
    Place: CONSOL Energy Center

    Game Notes:

    - Penguins are 5-5-0 over their last 10 games.
    - Kris Letang has returned after missing 10 weeks due to a stroke.
    - Penguins have dealt with a slew of injuries since the Olympic break, the most influential being the injury to Evgeni Malkin.
    - Flyers are coming off a hard-luck 4-2 loss to TB on Thursday.
    - Flyers need to win 1 of their next 2 games to assure a first round matchup with the Rangers.
    - Flyers are just 2-3-0 in their last 5 games.
    - This is the fifth and final meeting; Flyers have won 3 in a row after dropping the first game.

both teams seem to be resting players. Kunitz, Orpik and Fleury out for Pens. Timonen and Grossmann out for Flyers, Downie being benched for poor play.

    Flyers lines today:

    Hartnell - Giroux - Voracek

    McGinn - Schenn - Simmonds

    Read - Couturier - Raffl

    Rosehill - Lecavalier - Hall

    MacDonald - Coburn

    Gill - Streit

    Gustafsson - Schenn

Now hearing Fleury may start, but may split the game with Zatkoff.

Leadfoot Luke should never be allowed to pinch. Miss Rinaldo against the Pens, he'd be good to draw a couple penalties at least.

Luke actually got back and was in position. McGinn was the one who looked slower than anything on the back check. Totally on him.

Ma McGinn is slow. Really slows the second line a lot

Ah Neal...not a game until Neal takes a cheap shot, am I right?

Flyers gained the upper hand almost immediately after the Pens scored. Keep the foot on the gas.
