****** bailed on the series threads so talk if you'd like about all the games.

7 in a row. This team is brimming with confidence right now.

Weeks is as good as gone at the deadline. Scooter is playing pretty well. And Rickie will draw a decent prospect. We need some farm guys.

I hope these guys aren't using it all up in one shot...they're playing better than we've seen in years. Even Rickie had a nice double last night. Man if we could just get him up to around .230-.250 we might be unstoppable on offense.

I don't know if they'll trade Rickie at the trade deadline. They'd have to eat all of his salary, I don't think he'll bring in anything of value, and he still has some right handed power off the bench. I'd much rather have Rickie play against lefties than Bianchi.

The team is playing really well right now. All of the pitchers are pitching well and most of the guys are hitting well as well.

Something else that's awesome is that they can use krod, Henderson, kintzler, smith, and Thornburg in high leverage situations.

I heading to the games today and tomorrow.

What a beautiful performance by Lohse. Wow could we be dangerous if we keep it together all year.

Any guess as to whether or not Henderson gets the closer gig back? Velocity back up and pitching well it seems.

my guess is that krod is the closer

I know Ron at first said it was a temporary thing, but I don't think they'll remove krod from the closer role if he continues to pitch well. I don't think he's removed without a string of poor outings.

It stinks that Kintzler is on the DL. Rotator cuff stuff is rough.

I don't see how you can take KRod out of that role unless he implodes multiple times...he looks like he's right back in the form he had a few years back with the Angels.

I don't have much else to say...other than these guys are really making me smile every day.

I guess we'll see what we're really made of starting tonight.

I totally agree. The Cardinals are clearly the class of the division and have been for quite a while. Additionally, the Cardinals own the Brewers.

Catch a little bit of a break. No Wainwright and no Gallardo this series.

Well that was a tough game tonight. Lynn really pitched well. The big strike zone didn't really help considering Lynn historically has owned the Brewers. The few balls they managed to hit hard ended up in gloves somewhere.

Good to get Wang in a game though.
