With the Saints going offense in the first rd and Dee Ford being gone before 27th pick. I recommend in the 2-3rd Rd
Drafting OLB- Kyle Van Noy , BYU

    Hgt: 6'3
    Wgt: 242
    Bench: 21
    40x: 4.71(4.59)
    Shuttle: 4.20
    Cone: 7.22
    Vert: 32 1/2
Compared to Tedy Bruschi or Lance Briggs

Good work BB. Can you expand on the 3-4 Joker Position? Is that just on one side or both? Foreign football term for me.

I like Ford a lot... love his game and apparently he is a great leader and great guy off the field

    Thanks bro!

Basically the 'Joker' OLB is the LB in the 3-4 defense that lines up anywhere along the line of scrimmage along the front 7. The DC allows him to read the offense and free Lance with in the defensive scheme to get that edge or confuse the Oline blocking assignments.
Like a Matthew, DeMarcus Ware, LT, Green

Word thanks for explaining. He's damn quick man. He'd help in forcing even more turnovers for our D and add some nice depth at the position.

You're right about that bro, wish he still be available when we pick.

As a Saints fan i would just sit back strap on my seat belt and enjoy watching this defense go to work. Larry Holder made a point that he could someday replace Junior if he decides to go elsewhere for more money while Dee would still be under rookie contract

Good point. Never hurts to have some depth in case we do lose a guy like Galette. The more I think about it, I really think we can go a couple different routes with our first. And with the depth at the WR class, I'm guessing they will have the chance to land a pretty good WR in the 2nd and go BPA in the 1st. If we landed Ford or a CB in the 1st and use our 2nd on a guy like Robinson or Adams, I'd be way cool with that.

    OLB- Jeremiah Attaochu

    Georgia Tech DE/OLB- Jeremiah Attaochu

    Hgt: 6'3
    Wgt: 252lbs
    Bench:
    40x: 4.68(4.57)
    Shuttle: 4.64
    Cone: 7.28
    Vert: 37 1/2
    Compared to Mark Fields
(Great speed off the edge, very raw; doesn't uses his hands allowing Olineman/blockers to put their hands on him first)
*With proper coaching he'd make a impact. W/o he'll bust!

Check out Attaochu hands in this video clip for yourself:
