The guy who has rushed for more yards in the history of NFL football is not even on your Top 15 list? Comically terrible decision...

I'd easily take all these guys over Barry. Not really a question.

Is this sarcasm for him not including Barry, or are you agreeing with Barry not being on his list?

Emmitt doesn't scare me like about any other runner on that list. Sorry. Just because he had bulk yards doesn't mean he's one of the best.

I should Have Barry on there but to be honest -2, -5, 30 just doesn't impress me like it does others. The other guys I listed didn't go backwards as much as Barry.

It depends on what type of Back you want in that game. To me a prototypical RB should be a threat to break a long run, a short yardage beast, a incredible fearless blocker , and a chain mover. To me Smith did all those things better then anyone who has ever played the game besides maybe Peyton. Sanders was always a threat to break the long run but he was not good on short yardage , he was not the best blocker and he is the all time leader in negative yards from scrimmage.

    Smith
    Peyton
    Brown
    Sanders
    Dickerson
    Sayers
    Campbell
    LT
    Dorsette
    BO
    Marcus Allen
    Adrian Peterson
    Marshal Faulk
    John Riggins
    Terrel Davis

I'd have Smith in my top 15 easily. I'd have him near the top, but to say he's a threat to break a long one is really correct IMO.

He had a career 4.16 yards per carry average. He wasn't a threat to break one.

My top backs based on career. Adrian Peterson is still playing so he was the opportunity to move up as he gains more yards.

    1. Brown
    2. Payton
    3. Sanders
    4. Simpson
    5. Dickerson
    6. Peterson
    7. LDT
    8. Faulk
    9. Smith
    10. Campbell
