Just for fun, an interesting little exercise.

Sitting around with a group of colleagues yesterday one suggested this draft exercise. It's just for fun so there is no right or wrong answers. It has a fantasy flavor to it.

Using Draft Express' board you are allowed 1 selection for every 6 players on the board beginning with players 1 - 6 (Wiggins, Embiid, Parker, Radle, Exum and Smart)

    7 - 12 (VonLeh, Gordon, Saric, McDermott, Nurkic, Cauley-Stein)

13 - 18 (Capela, Ennis, Harris, Stauskas, Warren, Anderson)

19 - 24 (Harrell, Grant, Hairston, McDaniels, Payne and Hood)

25 - 30 (Young, Adams, Bogdanovic, Payton, Early, LaVine)

You must take one player for each of the 5 positions. PG, 2G, SF, PF and C.

    Select your five.

SI: Statistics suggest Joel Embiid will fully recover from foot surgery. But it could be 9-12 months before he plays http://bit.ly/1qwZuIB

Basketball is like war in that offensive weapons are developed first, and it always takes a while for the defense to catch up.

Did you mean elfrid payton for the 25-30 range? because id pick Napier, carson and Christon above him who sohould all be late firsts or early second rounders.. I think paytons a middle second round pick.

Great post defense, good wing defense, best pure point guard in the draft. Wings that can shoot or slash, bigs that can finish above the rim and stretch it out to 15-18 feet, and a point guard that isn't afraid of the big moment.
