Do you think Not Trading for WR Mike Williams was a Wasted Opportunity?
Bills acquired WR Mike Williams from the Buccaneers for a sixth-round draft pick.
According to Rotoworld:
In 2010, Williams led all rookie receivers in catches, yards, and touchdowns. He's not an explosive athlete by any means but with 25 career touchdowns and a 6-foot-2, 212-pound frame, Williams has been a reliable red-zone option. He turns 27 in May.
He could be cut after 2015 with no Dead money. He 2014 Cap Hit was $1.8M.
Yes we acquired Eric Decker, but the overhauling of the WR Corps isn't finished by any means.. He only played in six games last year because of a Hamstring issue, but the three years before that he was a consistent red zone threat catching at least 63 receptions. I think this guy was a great buy low option and a wasted opportunity. A fresh start is all this guy needs.
