I'm saying we win the first game but drop the next two. I don't like the pitching match ups in those ones.

We are pretty heavy favorites today at -160 in Vegas. I think we win 2 of 3 and get to .500. Assuming Rusin will start for Carlos tomorrow?

Got Woody going in fantasy. Need a QS, and 5k's. Nothing too greedy.
To some, he was just a boy. A boy who played football, a football player that grew to be a man. A man that took over a city, a city that he made his own, a city that stands behind him in hopes of becoming one of that cities all-time greats. To some, 2013 was a fluke. To some, he can't do it again. To some, he got lucky.

To us though, to the Philly faithful, that QB is Nick Foles. To us, that's our QB.

I hope Hendricks stay consistently good down at AAA bc I would love to see him in the 5 spot in late May or June. Not saying I hate Villy but just have a gut feeling he isn't going to produce for us

Can we flip the matchups? Lee/Shark is Saturday but listed 3rd here. Little confusing

People ask me, "Why here? Why Kentucky?", I said "Why not"? It can be done here. It will be done here. Lay the foundation. Recruit and develop. Prepare to win. Day by day. Play by play. A new era of high performance. Why Kentucky? Why not? -Mark Stoops

I like the matchups here. I think today definitely favors us. I like Shark vs Lee on Saturday as Lee was shelled against the Rangers and I think we've got a few guys who hit LHP well this year. Interesting to see if Villanueva is bumped or not after his relief appearances.

I think we take the series and end week 1 at 3-3.

Bummer but it's not like Valbuena has fared bad, either. Plus Olt keeps swinging and missing outside of his home run.

I'm not upset. Renteria seems like he likes to get guys in the lineup regularly. We've seen everyone start at least one game so far. And with Lee on the mound tomorrow, Olt should be back in.

Was under the impression this would be a 60/40 platoon, but time will tell.

Would've really liked to see Lake in and EB at 2B.
    Thanks JO-MO

    Shark vs Cliff Lee.

The Cubs will not hit Cliff Lee, IMO.

Olt hasn't looked bad at the plate though. Specifically he had one K looking on a filthy backdoor breaking ball from Liriano, also hit one to the track to the deepest part of PNC in the 9th on Wednesday. Just wanna see him in a rhythm
    Thanks JO-MO

    ^This^

Hopefully Olt's shoulder soreness isn't keeping him from playing more often. Who knows?
