Why is Johnny Football so underrated by the Fans?

Hes one of the best college QBs of all time. If Texans don't draft him, it would be a huge mistake. I'm hearing talks of the Vikings taking him and the thought of that makes me nervous. He will make all the NFC North Teams pay.

B/c people hate how he carries himself. They just don't like his attitude. The guy can play. People can nitpick all they want, I've seen every Johnny Football game (one of my roommates is a huge A&M fan) so he always has them on. The guy is a stud.

You can cover a turd in sugar but in the end you'll still have a turd... Or you'll have a typical Marc Trestman press conference describing his pathetic team.

Hes 20 or 21. People need to be realistic. If they were in his situation, they would handle it much worse imo.

I think most people are worried about his size and if he can handle the hits he will get from NFL players. He tends to scramble if his 1st read isn't open. Some worry about his attitude and work ethic. Most of his plays are outside of the pocket and no one really knows how he will do if he has to play within the pocket. He is definitely exciting and his play making ability is awesome but only time will tell if it will translate to the NFL level and if he can learn to go out of bounds and avoid hits.

What the others have said + great college QB =/= great NFL QB.

Theres red signs all over him. He quit on his team last year and played half ***. His tangibles are through the roof, but it didn't translate on the field. Hes an athletic beast, thats the only reason he would be drafted 1st.

If hes at 29. I think your team takes him.

Im personally hoping he falls to Cowboys, because if the Vikings draft him, I won't be able to root for him.
