It usually takes a car crash or something similar to break a femur, the strongest bone in body, per AAOS. Get well soon, Don Baylor.

Damn I saw that happen, it seemed Vladdy chuckled, then realized Baylor was in pain. I thought he probably just pulled something.

Angels seem to have a lot of freak accidents.

This is worse than Buddy Garrity Jr getting a hairline fracture in his fibula for doing the Samoan war dance.

When I realized he wasn't having a heart attack, I couldn't help laughing a little bit. Maybe next time don't trot a 68 year old man out there to get into a full squat to try and catch a baseball. I know someone is going to call me heartless or whatever for this, but the old dude broke a hip being put in a position he either never should've agreed to, or more likely never should've been asked to be in in the first place. I'm sure the Angels have great insurance. He'll get surgery and be fine. It's kinda funny.

Felt bad for Vlad too. Was suppose to be a happy moment for him, and ended up being a freak accident .

Not going to call you heartless, but this wasn't funny.

What's funnier is your lack of knowledge on the bone. Femur = hip?
