    Browns question

I understand this is a great signing by Denver, but when was the last time a player who came from the Browns was ever successful. I mean Edwards was ok, but he wasn't great. So will Ward be successful or just another guy who was only successful in Cleveland and is cashing in.

Ward is a good player and they got him on a good deal. Out of their 3 big defensive signings, I like his the most.

Very good player and they got him for a lot less than I expected him to get honestly.

The better question is when was the last time the Browns had a really good player that other teams wanted that much?

Ward is a very good player? He's a good tackler and hitter. Prob the worse cover safety in football, dumb and has a big mouth. He's good if the scheme fits him. But I wouldn't say very good because he's not.

Gordon, mack, Thomas, Cameron, Taylor, Rubin, mingo, Snead, Hayden, Bryant, a lot of teams would love those guys and I didn't even mention the new additions.

As much of a circus as the Browns have looked like the past few years there is actually a lot of talent. If Hoyer can get and stay healthy and they add some talent in the draft they could be real tough next season. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 9-10 games and sneak into the playoffs.
