Garrett Gilbert finally emerging from anonymity

Very underrated QB prospect. Five star out of high school, had a tough time at Texas, mainly due to injuries. Smart kid graduated in three years there then went to SMU for another couple seasons. Good size, great arm, quick release. He's better than Bortles if he can stay healthy.

Sounds like the new Blaine Gabbert to me, which means he's probably a bust within two years (assuming he's drafted high enough to be considered a "bust," which is unlikely at this point).

    He so seriously can be.

    Dude can SLING IT.

But he's a total mess now. His mechanics and accuracy are inconsistent. I don't really think he has a true grasp even close of playing NFL QB right now.

He's got Rodgers type deceptive wheels.

One of the few times I think Alpha nailed it on a sleeper.

My other guy is Silas Redd. That cat can play. Vision, patience and nimble feet for days. Just a tad too plodding to pop on tape but he knows how to play that position.
