Los Angeles Dodgers (2-0) @ San Diego Padres (0-0)

    .........................

Los Angeles Dodgers (2-0) @ San Diego Padres (0-0)

    Petco Park

    Game 1

    Sunday, 3/30. 5:05 PM. ESPN.

    Hyun-Jin Ryu

    192 IP | 3.00 ERA | 3.24 FIP | .296 BABIP | 3.0 WAR

Ryu will start the Dodgers' domestic opener on Sunday in San Diego if all goes well with the lefty's previously ailing right big toe during a bullpen session on Friday. Dan Haren will get the call if Ryu has a setback.
    vs.

    Andrew Cashner

    175 IP | 3.09 ERA | 3.35 FIP | .269 BABIP | 2.4 WAR

Cashner makes his first Opening Day start after a season in which he actually got better as the summer wore on, posting a 2.25 ERA in August and a 0.76 ERA in the last month of the season, which included a near-no-hitter against the Pirates.
    Game 2

    Tuesday, 4/1. 3:40 PM. SportsNetLA.

    177.2 IP | 2.63 ERA | 3.23 FIP | .276 BABIP | 4.0 WAR

Clayton Kershaw's injury has made the order of the Dodgers' initial starting rotation uncertain, but manager Don Mattingly has said Greinke will start the club's second game stateside. Greinke was limited to three spring starts due to a calf strain.
    vs.

    Ian Kennedy

    181.1 IP | 4.91 ERA | 4.49 FIP | .295 BABIP | 0.0 WAR

Kennedy, a fly-ball pitcher obtained at the Trade Deadline a year ago, has certainly found Petco Park to his liking. He's 7-2 with a 2.41 ERA in 12 career starts there. After a slow start in Spring Training, he found his command late in camp.
    Game 3

    Wednesday, 4/2. 7:10 PM. SportsNetLA.

    NO PITCHER
    vs.

    Tyson Ross

    125.0 IP | 3.17 ERA | 3.20 FIP | 2.82 BABIP | 1.3 WAR

Ross came on strong last season and finished with the fourth-best swing-and-miss percentage (25.8) in the National League. His slider is a plus pitch, and he worked hard during Spring Training to use his changeup more in 2014.

No BS, dude on my team a few years back had a two-seamer like that and he threw ****ING hard.

Were both right handed. He kept pitching me 4seamers low and away at BP so I thought I was smart and jumped out at one early to get ahead of it, ended up getting hit on my left nipple by a 90+ 2-seamer.

The next day there was a basketball sized bruise on my chest. Thank goodness he didn't get a rib.

Back to Lee, hasn't the knock on him always been that he lacks a plus-pitch? That seemed pretty "plus" to me

Can he throw it like that every time?

I'm watching him right now and I haven't seen that pitch

where'd you hear Clay to the 15 day? I'm guessing it's retroactive to his last start... I just read he's pain free and should start the home opener

Yeah, I'm fine with them being cautious especially this early in the season, and he's only gonna miss 1 scheduled start, so it's not that big of a blow at all.
