Losing K. Moreno - Big deal for Broncos?

I don't see why the let the man go?
He caught out of the backfield, he ran as hard as he could every play.
He exploded on many long runs last year.

Moreno just signed a One Year with the Dolphins.

Do they really think Hillman and Ball are ready to carry the load?

I don't... I also think it will cost them dearly.

    Thoughts?

I think Montee Ball will be a fine replacement for Moreno.

Maybe the thread should be named "Does Moreno leaving cost the Broncos a shot at the SB"

I don't think it does. RB is one of the biggest plug and play. Plus Ball is ready to shoulder the load. They are in position to draft one however as a luxury.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO NEMACOLIN WOODLANDS KENNEL

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

As long as Peyton Manning is healthy, I think they will be fine.

Moreno won't make or break them.

Wish he signed with us though.

It weakens their team. I don't expect Ball to be as good this year as Moreno was last year. If DEN doesn't make it to the SB it's possible the drop off at RB is a factor but you can never point to one move and say that's the specific reason we won or lost.

They could still sign a FA like Blount or MJD or use a draft pick.

Ball got all of the opportunities to outplay Moreno last year but couldn't.

I also highly doubt Moreno will be as good in MIA as he was last year. Not bc of the other RBs they have there but bc Manning made it possible for Moreno to shine. Additionally, I'm always wary of players who have career years when they're up for a new contract. A counterpoint to that would be that Moreno had a fantastic end to the 2012 season when McGahee went down.

I doubt it. If they don't make the SB, people will certainly point it out as a factor, but I don't think anybody will see it as the main one. The dropoff isn't that huge, especially when you have Peyton

Pshh, Moreno isn't good. Don't overrate him based on one contract year. Ball has a much higher ceiling.
